Itinerary :
DAY1
Arrival in Beijing
Guide will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. The rest
of the day is free and you can explore the city on your own.
DAY2
Beijing ( B,L,D ) *
Morning tour to Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City, known as the Palace
Museum. Afternoon tour to the Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors
of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvests.
Enjoy a Beijing Opera in the evening.
DAY3
Beijing ( B,L,D ) *
Morning tour to to the Great Wall- the landmark of China. It is one of
the most amazing feats of manmade construction on earth visible from outer
space. Afternoon tour to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant
marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors
of the Ming Dynasty. Enjoy a famous Beijing roast duck in the evening.
DAY4
Beijing / Xian ( B,L,D ) *
Morning tour to Summer Palace - a former summer resort of the royal family.
Then fly to Xian -the great ancient capital and the eastern end of the
Silk Road. On arrival you will be met by our guide and taken to the hotel.
The rest of the day is free.
DAY5
Xian ( B,L,D ) *
Morning tour to Terra-cotta warriors -the unparalleled highlight of Xian.
Afternoon tour to the Hua Qing Hot Springs - a former resort for the emperor
and royal family. Enjoy a Tang Dynasty song and dance in the evening.
DAY6
Xian / Hangzhou ( B,L,D ) *
Morning flight to Hangzhou. Upon arrival, visit the Memorial of General
Yue Fei. Then, take a cruise on the beautiful West Lake before going to
Huagang Park to see the Red Carp. Afternoon tour to a Dragon Well Tea Village
where you can taste the tea as well as acquaint yourself with the ancient
refining process of tea.
DAY7
Hangzhou / Wuzhen / Suzhou ( B,L,D ) *
After breakfast, leave for Suzhou by train. Suzhou is referred to as the "Venice
of the East". Suzhou is also famous for its gardens. Morning tour
to Tiger Hill with its Cloud Rock Pagoda, the symbol of Suzhou; it leans
a bit to one side like the "Leaning Tower of Pisa" in Italy.
Also a tour to picturesque "Humble Administrator’s Garden", Suzhou’s
best known garden. Afternoon tour to the Panman ancient water gate, built
2,500 years ago. The next stop will be Suzhou number one silk factory where
you will witness, step by step, the production of the finest silk in China
DAY8
Suzhou / Shanghai ( B,L,D ) *
Morning tour to Tongli, which is an example of a water-town, typical of
this part of China. Afternoon, drive to Shanghai.
DAY9
Shanghai ( B,L,D ) *
Morning tour to the Jade Buddha Temple and Chenghuang Temple situated opposite
the Wuxing Teahouse in the old quarter of the city. Afternoon tour to the
Bund with its famous skyline, the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, which
is the most famous shopping district in Shanghai.
DAY10
Guide will take you to the airport for your departure.
