DAY1
Arrive in Beijing
Our guide will meet you and take you to the hotel. The rest of the day
is free.
DAY2
Beijing ( B,L,D ) *
Morning tour to Tian'anmen Square, located in the heart of the capital.
It is the largest one in the world. Next tour to the Forbidden City which
is one of the greatest feats of ancient Chinese architecture. Afternoon
tour to Summer Palace- a former summer resort area of the royal family,
or tour to the Temple of Heaven where the emperors prayed for good harvests.
Enjoy a famous Beijing roast duck in the evening.
DAY3
Beijing ( B,L,D ) *
A full day tour to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one of
the most amazing feats of manmade construction on earth visible from outer
space. Afternoon tour to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant
marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors
of the Ming Dynasty. Enjoy a Peking Opera in the evening.
DAY4
Beijing / Xi'an ( B,L,D ) *
Morning flight form Beijing to Xi'an, the great ancient capital and the
eastern end of the Silk Road.Guide will meet you at airport and take you
to the hotel. Afternoon tour to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built
in 652 A.D. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scripture which were
obtained from India.
DAY5
Xi'an ( B,L,D ) *
A full day tour to the incredible Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses at the
Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of unified China. Also tour to
the Huaqing Hot Spring - a former resort for the emperor and royal family
and a visit to the Banpo Village - the remains of a Neolithic village dating
back 6,000 years. Primitive tools and household utensils are displayed
in the Banpo Museum. Enjoy a Tang Dynasty Dinner and Show.
DAY6
Xi'an / Guilin ( B,L,D ) *
Morning flight to Guilin, a charming city with magnificent peaks and rivers,
beautiful rocks and fantastic caves. Guide will meet you at the airport
and take you to visit the most famous Reed Flute Caves, elephant Trunk
Hill and Fubo Hill up where you can climb for the panoramic view of the
city. Then take you to hotel.
DAY7
Guilin ( B,L,D ) *
Morning cruise down the winding Li River to Yangshuo, enjoy the spectacular
scenery and the crystal clear water. You can explore Yangshuo, a small
town with many stalls selling traditional Chinese articles. Return to Guilin
by bus.
DAY8
Guilin / Shanghai ( B,L,D ) *
Depart from Guilin for Shanghai in the morning, the bustling commercial
heart of China. City tour begins with a stroll along the lively waterfront "The
Bund" and the Children's Palace. Enjoy an acrobatic show in the evening.
DAY9
Depart from Shanghai ( B ) *
Morning tour to the classical Yu Yuan, the Jade Buddha Temple. Guide will
take you to the airport for your departure.
