DAY1
Shanghai
On arrival, Our guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you. You will be
transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax. You could
take a walk along the famous waterfront to fully appreciate this diverse
city.(L,D)*
DAY2
Shanghai
Morning: Visit the Shanghai Museum with its collection of ancient Chinese
art of bronze, ceramics, painting and calligraphy.
Afternoon: Continue the Yu Garden, which has over 30 pavilions, linked by a maze of corridors and bridges. And Jade Buddha Temple where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha is treasured.
Evening: An acrobatic show at the Portman Ritz-Carlton Hotel for your entertainment after dinner. (B,L,D) *
DAY3
Shanghai - Suzhou
Morning: Transfer to the rail station, an hour train journey takes you
to Suzhou, known as the Venice of the east.
Afternoon: City tour begins with visiting the Humble Administrator’s Garden, which is followed by a trip to Silk Reeling Factory before transfer to the hotel. (B,L,D) *
DAY4
Suzhou - Tongli - Suzhou
Take a full day visit to the famous water town by private car, Tongli,
an age-old but very well preserved water township with a history of more
than 1,000 years. Drive back to Suzhou. (B,L,D) *
DAY5
Suzhou - Hangzhou
Morning: You will go to the Tiger Hill. Climb the hill and find a number
of historical sites, which can be traced back to the founding of Suzhou.
Transfer to the rail station and afterwards take a three hours journey
to Hangzhou where sightseeing focuses on the lovely gardens, lakes and
terrific islands.
Afternoon: Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel, check in for 2 nights and have a good rest. (B,L,D) *
DAY6
Hangzhou
Morning: You will have a short cruise on the scenic West Lake, the highlight
in the city.
Afternoon: Continue to the Lingyin Temple - the biggest Buddhist Temple in the southern China and tea farm. (B,L,D) *
DAY7
Hangzhou - Shanghai
Morning: A visit to the Six Harmonies Pagoda, which is definitely a masterpiece
of ancient Chinese architecture.
Afternoon: Transfer to the rail way station for a two-hour train journey to Shanghai. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and have a good rest. (B,L,D) *
DAY8
Shanghai
Transfer to the airport for your homeland. Alternatively, extend your stay.
