Day 1
Arrival in Guilin (L, D) *
Guide will meet you and take you to the hotel. Then have private city tours to the Reed Flute Cave & the Elephant Trunk Hill.

Day 2
Guilin (B,L) *
Guide will meet you in the hotel, you cruise down to Yangshuo on Li River which is the place of picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos...(4.5 hours)Then, after short while exploration, take you to the airport or train station for your departure.

Local Minority Groups

The region around Guilin and Yangshuo is inhabited by more than 20 different ethnic groups including the Zhuang, Miao, Yao, and Tong, and they make up 8.5% of Guilin's population of 600,000. These groups all have colorful custom and mostly rural lifestyles.

Northwest of Guilin are the towns of Longsheng and Sanjiang, where you can find mixtures of Dong, Zhuang, Yao, and Miao minority villages.

These people tend to be very friendly and may offer to be your guide and possibly invite you into their home for a meal.
