Itinerary :

Day 1
Kunming
Guide will meet you at the airport of kunming and take you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 2
Kunming / Dali (B,L,D) *
Tour to the Stone Forest-A typical karst formation and famous scene of Yunnan province in China, it comes into being before 270 million years and looks like a vast forest of stone, hence the name "the Stone Forest". Flight to Dali and take you to the hotel.

Day 3
Dali (B,L,D) *
Tour to the Erhai Lake Park, the Three Pagoda, the South Gate of the Dali ancient town and the Foreigner Street. Take you to the hotel.

Day 4
Dali / Lijiang (B,L,D) *
After breakfast,drive to Lijiang.visit the Yan's Compound of Bai Minority in Xizhou and the tie--dyeing in Zhoucheng. Check in at the hotel. Enjoy the Naxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance at Dongba Palace.

Day5
Lijiang (B,L,D) *
Toady's tour includes Yulong Snow Mountain, Yunshang (Yunnan Spruce) Meadow, Ganhaizi (Sweet Water) Level Ground, and Baisha (White Sand) Fresco.

Day 6
Lijiang / Shangri-La (B,L,D) *
After breakfast, Drive to Shangri-La and visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the First Bend of the Yangtze River and the Stone Drum Town during the way .Then take you to the hotel.

Day 7
Shangri-La (B,L,D) *
Full day tour to the Bitahai Lake Nature Reserve, about 3,539 meters above the sea level, which was depicted as the “Blue Sea” in James Hilton’s novel The Lost Horizon, the Napahai Lake Nature Reserve and the Songzanlin Temple-the biggest Tibetan Buddhist Temple in Yunnan.

Shangri-La / Kunming (B) *
Morning flight to Kunming and exchange for another city.

Local food -- Bridge Rice Noodles

Most famous flavour dishes in the province, came from a story in the southern Yunnan. A scholar, preparing for the imperial examinations isolated himself on an island in a lake. His devoted wife was dismayed that meals she carried to him across a long, wooden bridge always arrived cold. But by chance, she discovered the way to keep soup boiling hot was to top it with a thin layer of vegetable oil which prevented the spot without a stove. Of course, her husband passed the exams.

Local food --Steam Pot Chicken

Yunnanese is the ceramic steam pot, a squat, round, lidded vessel with an internal spout, or chimmney, that allows steam to enter and circulate but not escape. Chicken cooked by this technique produces a superior soup entirely from steam and natural juices. This dish, called steam Pot Chicken ( qiguoji) comes first on the list of Yunnan's specialities. A remarkable feature, which should not put anybody off, is the inclusion of natural medicinal ingredients used by the Chinese both to enhance flavour and to promote health. These might include ginseng, herbs or dried Himalayan caterpillars.
