Arrival in Lhasa
Our guide will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. The rest of

Day 2

After breakfast, you will visit Potala Palace – former residential palace
for Dalai Lama, Jokhang Temple –a Buddhist Temple & local Bazaar –
Barkhor street.
Day 3
Lhasa (B,L,D) *
Full day tour to the Sera Monastery -one of the three greatest monasteries
of Tibet. Drepung Monastery-one of the biggest monasteries in Tibet. Norbulingka
and the Carpet Factory.
Day 4
Depart Lhasa (B) *
Our guide will take you to the airport for your departure.

Tibet Festivals
Great Prayer Festival: The greatest religious festival in Tibet. Instituted by Tsongkapa in 1409, the founder of the Gelukpa Sect. Monks from the Three Great Monasteries of Tibet assemble in Jorkhang for pray to Shakyamuni's image as if it were the living Buddha. Philosophical debates are held among candidates for the Doctorate of Metaphysics. Pilgrims come from every corner of Tibet and donations are offered to monks.
