Itinerary :
Day 1
Arrive in Beijing
Welcome to Beijing, capital of China. On arrival, you will be met by our guide
and transferred to your hotel.The rest of the Tage is at leisure or explore the
city.
Day 2
Beijing (B,L,D) *
Morning tour to Tian'anmen Square, located in the heart of the capital,
and the Forbidden City-one of the greatest feats of ancient Chinese architecture.
Afternoon sightseeing includes Summer Palace- a former summer resort area
of the royal family, Enjoy the famous Beijing roast dinner in the evening.
Day 3
Beijing (B,L,D) *
Full Tage excursion to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one
of the most amazing feats of manmade construction on earth visible from
outer space. after lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred way
with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased
emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Peking Opera performance will be attended
in the evening.
Day 4
Beijing -Urumqi (B,L,D) *
In the morning,you will visit the Temple of Heaven where the emperors prayed
for good harvests. Take a flight to Urumqi, At Urumqi,you will be met and
transferred to hotel.
Day 5
Urumqi - Turpan (B,L,D) *
Drive to Turpan and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Jiaohe Ruins, the
Karez Well and the Sugong Pagoda.
Day 6
Turpan / Dunhuang (B,L,D) *
Visit the Gaochang Ruins, the Baizikeli Thousand Buddha Cave and the Flaming
Hill. Take an overnight soft sleeper train to Dunhuang.
Day 7
Dunhuang (B,L,D) *
Pick you up at Liuyuan railway station and transfer you to the hotel in
Dunhuang. You will experience a short camel-riding along the Echoing-Sand
Dune to reach the Crescent Lake.
Day 8
Dunhuang / Lanzhou (B,L,D) *
Visit the Mogao Grottoes. Take a flight to Lanzhou and transfer to the
hotel. Visit the Waterwheel Garden.
Day 9
Lanzhou (B,L,D) *
Full Tage tour to visit the Binglingsi Grottoes.
Day 10
Lanzhou / Xiahe (B,L,D) *
Transfer to Xiahe and check in at the hotel. Visit the Sangke Grassland.
Day 11
Xiahe / Lanzhou (B,L,D) *
After breakfast,Visit the Labrang Monastery and have a watch of the morning
devotion there. Drive back to Lanzhou and stay at the hotel.
Day 12
Lanzhou / Xian (B,L,D) *
Take a flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. Visit the City Wall. After
lunch visit the Provincial History Museum.
Day 13
Xian (B,L,D)*
A full Tage visit includes the unparalleled highlight of an excursion to
the incredible Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses at the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang,
the first emperor of unified China. Added highlights are visits to the
Huaqing Hot Spring - a former resort area especially for the emperor and
royal family and a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in
652 AD. It contains a large column of Buddhist scriptures which were obtained
from India by the eminent monk Xuanzang.. Tonight enjoy Tang Dynasty Show.
Day 14
Xian / Shanghai
Take a flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Qibao Old
Town, the Yuyuan Garden and the Bund. The farewell dinner is served at
Central Hotel, whose restaurant Wang Bao He has a history of around 260
years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. The memorable dinner
will be followed by the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.
Day 15
Departure from Shanghai
Sightseeing of toTage includes the Bund Shanghai's famous waterfront promenade
--, old quarter of the city and outside view of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
Free shopping at famous Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Transfer to the
airport after dinner, fly back to home.
