Itinerary :

Day 1
Taiyuan (L,D) *
In the morning, you will be met by our guide at train station and take you to Wutai Mount. (3 hours). A full day tour is Wutai Mount-the holy mountain of Buddhism, the Xiantong Monastery, Tayuan Temple. Take you to your hotel after tour.

Day 2
Departure Taiyuan ( B,L,D) *
In early morning, drive to Pingyao. The afternoon tour is Pingyao ancient town. Take you to Taiyuan train station or airport and leave for other cities.

Shanxi Province is situated in the middle of the Yellow River valley, lying between latitude 3434'-4044' north and longitude 11015'-11432' east. Its location west of the Taihang Mountains gives the province its name, Shanxi, meaning "west of the mountain.
