Huaqing Hot Springs is located on the northern foot of Lishan Mountain,about 30 kilometers east of Xi'an ,is a famous hot spring resorts, the hot sun and the moon with the flow of water and not profit, not virtual. Many visitors take hot springs bath here every day.
According to historical records, the hot springs was discovered about 3000 years ago, the Western Zhou Dynasty. Han emperors built aristocratic palace here. In Tang dynasty,” another splendid Huaqing Palace was built ,so “Huaqing Hot Springs" was named. Experience on behalf of the war, have destroyed the original building collapse. Now the building, according to historical records the layout of the reconstruction in 1959.
Since ancient times, Huaqing Hot Springs has been a famous attraction in China. Among more than 2700 of hot springs in China, Huaqing Hot Springs was known as the number one royal springs in China. The temperature of Huaqing Hot Spring spa water is being kept at 43 ℃ for the whole year with pure, delicate smooth, water containing silica, fluoride and other 10 kinds of minerals. On rheumatism, arthritis and other diseases, it has a significant effect and has achieved quite a fortunate on tourism.
It has been three thousand years since emperors of Zhou, Qin, Han, Sui and Tang dynasties had built palaces here. Zhou You Wang of the Western Zhou Dynasty had also built Royal Palace here. In winter, spring moisture cream cemented many beautiful Frost butterflies, hence, the name of “flying forest palace”. Qin, Han, Sui rebuilt several times till to the Tang Dynasty. After the expansion in Tang Tianbao six years (747AD), the Emperor Xuan Zong brought Princess Yang to bath in the “Hua Qing Hot Spring. It is recorded that Emperor had been there 36 times between 714AD to 755AD.The flying palace is the residence for them.
