Yunnan: All the cities , Kunming ,Dali, Lijiang and Xishuangbanna belong to Yunnan province. Yunnan province has 25 minority groups , nearly half of the country's total ( 56 ethnic groups ) . "Yunnan" in Chinese means "south of the clouds". Various colors and shapes of the clouds over this plateau give Yunnan its full name "South of the Colorful Clouds". These beautiful rosy clouds always appear in the south, which is thought to be an auspicious sign. People like to call Yunnan the province of "perpetual spring" because the climate is always like spring for whole year. That is why Yunnan is a perfect destination for tour.

Eggs Sold in Bundles: People in Longlin County of Baoshan area are used to tying egg vertically and horizontally up into a bar with rice straw and sell them in bars in the market.
Key Hung on Waist -belts: The Dai women in southern Yunnan like wearing long skirts with silver belts on which keys are hung . It is a rule that only married women are allowed to hang keys . Because wearing a belt with keys shows one in capable of running the household.
Straw Hats Used as Cooker Covers: hardworking and honest countrymen weave every day necessities shoes , fans , hats , baskets , cooker covers and so on with bamboo and paddy stems.

Lugu Lake
Lugu Lake was known by people just before 3 or 4 years in China. It is home to the Mosu minority, and what has to be some of China's most spectacular scenery. Lugu Lake is located between Yunnan's Ninglang County and Sichuan's Yanyuan County. The water of the lake is generally clean and green.
There is not airport yet. If you want to get there, 5 hours car ride of unmade roads from Lijiang isneeded, but the journey is worth it when you get your first view of the lake and the surrounding mountains of Yunnan and Sichuan provinces. The shores of the Lugu lake is inhabited by the Mosuo people who have peculiar customs and ways, up to now still retaining remnants of matriarchal society. Men and women are not united by wedlock, each living at the mother's home respectively, yet keeping a casual cohabitation relationship. Thus the place is called "A Quaint Realm of Matriarchy".
Early townships in the southern edge of (outside the comtemporary city perimeter) can be dated back to, although long since lost to history.
